ग्रहण समाप्ति पर  या अगले दिन दान करना चाहिए। ओम् नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय का मंत्र जाप करे । 

अन्य राशियों के लिए कैसा रहेगा ग्रहण ?

मेशः चिन्ता व खर्च बढ़ने की संभावना, गुड़ का दान करें। बृशः व्यर्थ भागदौड़, दूध का पैकेट दान करें ।मिथुनः लाभ व धार्मिक कामों पर व्यय,हरी मूंग की दाल दान दें। कर्कः प्रगति, प्रोमोषन वृद्धि , दही का दान करें। सिंहः यात्रा की संभावना, तांबे का बर्तन किसी सुपात्र को दें। कन्याः शारीरिक कष्ट, हरी सब्जी लंगर में दान कर आएं। तुलाः धनहानि, मंदिर में कपूर दे दें। बृष्चिकः धन लाभ , मिटटी के कुज्जे में पीली खांड भर के दान दें। धनुः संघर्ष बढ़ेगा, सवा किलो चने की दाल दें। मकरः संतान से परेशानी, काले उड़द दान करें। कुंभ: दुर्घटना ,यात्रा में कष्ट,बारह किलो कच्चा कोयला जरुरतमंद को दें।मीनः पत्नी को कष्ट, मछलियों को आटे व उड़द की गोलियां डालें। तांबे का पात्र दान करें ।

ग्रहण में क्या करें क्या नहीं ?

सूतक तथा ग्रहण काल में  मूर्ति स्पर्श, अनावश्यक खाना पीना, संसर्ग आदि से बचना चाहिए। गर्भवती महिलाएं अधिक श्रम न करें । सामान्य रहें।ग्रहण काल में चंद्रमा को सीधे न देखा जाए। खुले में खाद्य सामग्री न रखें। संक्रमण व विकीरणों से बचने के लिए तुलसी का प्रयोग करें। ग्रहण लगने से पहले और दो दिन बाद तक के संक्रमण काल में कोई शुभकार्य, विवाह ,निर्माण, नए व्यवसाय का आरंभ , सगाई, लंबी अवधि का निवेष, मकान का सौदा या एडवांस, आंदोलन, धरना- प्रदर्षन आदि नहीं करना चाहिए क्योंकि उनके सफल होने में संदेह रहता है।

क्या करें दान?

कन्या राशि वाले लोग 5 अप्रैल, रविवार की प्रातः स्नान करके मंदिर में, गाय को या मांगने वालों को गुड़, चने की दाल, चावल और दूध दान कर सकते हैं। इसके अलावा सात अनाज के दान का भी महत्व है। सात अनाज में शास्त्रानुसार कनक, चावल, मक्की, चने, जौ ,ज्वार तथा बाजरा होने चाहिए। इसमें दालें नहीं होनी चाहिए। जिनकी साढ़ेसाती चल रही हो जैसे तुला ,बृष्चिक व धनु व राषि वाले जातक अपने वज़न के बराबर तुलादान कर सकते हैं। या 12 किलो ऐसा अनाज अलग अलग लिफाफों में डालकर दान दे सकते हैं। कालसर्प दोश के जातक , विषेश जाप, महामृत्युंज्य मंत्र तथा राहू - केतु के मंत्र जप सकते हैं। चांदी के नाग नागिन षिवलिंग पर चढ़ा सकते हैं या प्रवाहित कर सकते हैं।
